The history of Hotel Amsterdam De Roode Leeuw dates back to the 15th century. In 1911 the hotel opened its doors and was therefore one of the first hotels in Amsterdam. The location of the hotel is fantastic and very central, namely on the Damrak near Dam Square. This hotel is one of the few remaining privately owned hotels in the city.
