Its roots dating back to the 15th century and located on Damrak, just off Dam Sqaure in the heart of Amsterdam, Hotel Amsterdam De Roode Leeuw opened in 1911 and is one of the few remaining privately-owned hotels in the city.
The 79 rooms of our hotel sport a bold new look and offer all modern amenities.
Complimentary coffee- and tea-making facilities are available, as well as a minibar. For your safety your room has a smoke detector and an electronic safe.
Our LCD television set allows you to access television programs in many languages and to view digital quality movies or listen to a large selection of stereo music CDs. Budget single rooms

All of our non smoking Superior rooms have been recently renovated. They offer even more space, style and luxury than our Comfort rooms, so you can enjoy spacious luxury after a hard day's work or a day spent exploring Amsterdam. Most of the bathrooms contain a full-length bath.
